週一，投資人正消化法國選舉結果，歐洲股市普遍反應正面，STOXX 50指數升 0.73%，STOXX 600指數漲0.32%，CAC 40 指數上揚1.09%。 另外，歐元/美元匯率反彈至1.074上方，觸及1.077高點。 

極右翼的國民聯盟贏得法國首輪國會選舉，但其支持率低於一些民意調查的預測，而且未獲得多數席次。 選舉結果讓擔心擴張性財政議程的投資人鬆了一口氣。 不過，最終結果還存不確定性。 雖然國民聯盟有機會獲得多數勢力，但這不是最可能發生的情景。 中間派和左翼政黨正在商討防止極右翼在下週日的第二輪選舉中取得進展。  

銀行股表現最佳，尤其是法國銀行股。 法國巴黎銀行大漲 3.6%，法國興業銀行強彈 3.1%。 

經濟消息方面，德國6月通脹率放緩超乎預期，消費者物價指數(CPI)跌至2.2%。 週二公佈的歐元區整體通脹率也預計出現類似減幅至2.5%。 這些數據強化了歐洲央行(ECB)在未來幾個月考慮進一步放寬貨幣政策的理由。
